Apropos nothing...

Thanks to Kitabkhana for this post, which provoked an hour of furious googling for the Phantom, specifically, for a glimpse of the old Indrajal comics/covers.  Truly, there are some dedicated Phans on the net...


Decided to sell my old (and not-so-old) comic collection a couple of weeks ago...but ten minutes thumbing through boxes with Frank Miller Daredevils (even if somewhat worse for wear) and Neal Adams Deadmans (mostly in sterling condition), not to mention a glimpse of the crown jewel, the first "modern" appearance of Two-Face, convinced me otherwise...


Ah, comic collectors-- the only sub-species worse is that of the Trekkies...

Yeah I haven't found Indrajal comics online either. One can find the American originals some of the Indrajals (my impression is some of the latter were reprints, but that after a point many were not), but not the Indrajals themselves...

I have the first Bahadur comic called "The red brick house". A friend found it in an old newspaper store in Mumbai and gave it to me becuase he had another copy of the same. Am Lucky eh?
