Apropos nothing...

Thanks to Kitabkhana for this post, which provoked an hour of furious googling for the Phantom, specifically, for a glimpse of the old Indrajal comics/covers.  Truly, there are some dedicated Phans on the net...

Decided to sell my old (and not-so-old) comic collection a couple of weeks ago...but ten minutes thumbing through boxes with Frank Miller Daredevils (even if somewhat worse for wear) and Neal Adams Deadmans (mostly in sterling condition), not to mention a glimpse of the crown jewel, the first "modern" appearance of Two-Face, convinced me otherwise...

Ah, comic collectors-- the only sub-species worse is that of the Trekkies...

It was great to look at these covers for the first time since childhood. I was even searching for some of the comic books on eBay but couldn't find anything and didn't really have the time to look elsewhere.

Yeah I haven't found Indrajal comics online either. One can find the American originals some of the Indrajals (my impression is some of the latter were reprints, but that after a point many were not), but not the Indrajals themselves...
