Bluffmaster!

The cumulative effect of the soundtrack is akin to that of an anthology-- can't say I'm overwhelmed, but I suspect it'll work well in the film.  Bluffmaster does feature two rather addictive tracks, Say na Say na and boro boro/bure bure (the latter featuring mostly Persian lyrics).  The film (slated for a December release)appears to feature another in a series of Abhishek Bachchan roles that pay winking homage to The Father, and it's nice to see that Sameeruddin's Do aur Do Paanch remix does not lag behind on the fun, which Abhishek kicks off with "Is dhande mein main tumhara baap hoon"... right before the song-- originally picturized on his father-- begins...

With director Rohan Sippy claiming that Bombay is one of the film's major characters (a welcome relief-- as was also true of the bhaiyya-soaked and utterly irresistible Bunty aur Babli earlier this year-- after scores of addled films shot everywhere but in India, and often to staggeringly pointless effect at that), perhaps, as Satyam says, there is hope for Bollywood after all...

hi satyam .. good to hear somany people actually do think about the score of the film nowa days

the point u made is very valid and believe me with rohan's sensibilaties.. he is more of a musician than a director(not tryin to offend his directional skills !)
i worked on the score of bluffmaster.. and the way rohan guided it was totally appropriate.. wuz just browsing so i came across ur post .. regards sameer
