I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if you aren't reading what Yogi Sikand is writing (especially as he is one of the few today who prefer to dwell upon the "little" traditions, the "modest" modes of acculturation operative in the sub-continent, as opposed to upon the tyranny of master-narratives and grand political projects), you should be. Cases in point include these pieces. . .(not to mention that he has written several books). . .
